OPEN MEETING – 13th May
The next open meeting will be on the 13th May. Doors will be open from 6.30pm to review our display and meet your (new?) councillors, and the meeting will start at 7.30 with all the usual features. On this occasion we have arranged a talk about the recently formed Ashford Clinical Commissioning Group, to be presented by Dr Navin Kumta, Clinical Chair, and Martin Harvey, Lay Member – Patient and Public Engagement.
Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) are NHS organisations set up by the Health and Social Care Act 2012 to organise the delivery of NHS services in England. They are clinically led groups that include all of the GP groups in their geographical area. The aim of this is to give GPs and other clinicians the power to influence commissioning decisions for their patients. Come along to hear about the Ashford CCG and how it will affect YOU.

Apologies to all of you who have been sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for….. something. Yours truly was working in Oslo throughout 2014 and, what with everything else WCF was up to, the website got lavished with neglect. That is being rectified now, and hopefully, since I’m now based back in England, won’t happen again.
So, some catching up:
We will be adding more bit by bit but if you have any ideas please contact us on info@north-willesborough.org.uk
Ian Stevenson (Chair)
Finally, the new website for the North Willesborough area is up and running. It has to be said that it is in its infancy just now, but new content will be added as quickly and as soon as possible, so be sure to visit regularly.
